Equipment Review: The C-Stand and Accessories

This is one of my favorite pieces of equipment for teaching virtually. You can use it to hold "all the things!"

This stand is very compact, can be stored easily and takes up little floor space. It's sturdy and heavy, but you can add sandbags if you fully extend the cantilever arm to keep it from tipping. It is spring-loaded so that it is easy to lift heavy equipment.

Add a tablet-holder or phone mount to use as an overhead camera. Or adjust it for an "over-the-shoulder" view. Have it hold a shotgun mic for better sound capabilities. It is endlessly configurable!
