Do I need expensive equipment?
Nope. Your phone is enough. We show you how to use what you’ve already got.
What if I hate being on camera?
You’re not alone. This course helps you ease into it, with tricks to make the process more comfortable (and optional ways to keep the focus on your hands, not your face).
How long will I have access to the course materials?
Guaranteed access for a full year. Realistically, for as long as the Academy is open, which we plan to be for a long time to come. Rewatch lessons, refresh your skills, and learn at your own pace, whenever you need to.
What if I can't attend the live sessions?
All sessions are recorded and added to your dashboard, so you’ll never miss a thing, watch anytime, on your own schedule.
How long will this course take?
We will have four 1hr teaching session then monthly ongoing coaching. You can go through all of the tutorials in a weekend or chip away at it in short bursts. You’ll be able to film your first video within 7 days.
Is this course suitable for beginners?
Yes! This course is designed both for total beginners and those who need some specific information to up their game. You’ll get clear, simple steps to go from “no clue” to confidently filming useful videos with no experience needed.
What kind of videos will I learn to make?
This course helps you create educational videos that can be used for Youtube tutorials, social media posts, or online classes. (Hot tip - MARKETING videos are educational videos too!)
Do I need any specific software or apps?
No fancy tech required. We recommend free or low-cost tools that work on any device - Mac, PC, or phone.
Is this only for quilters??
No, it’s for all visual educators. If you teach through hands-on demos (fiber art, painting, sculpture, etc.), this is made for you.
